The Leitrim Organic Farmers Co-op offers a range of services to both members and traditional farmers.
  • Free support to members
  • Free Information and Advisory service on all aspects of organic farming and production, or referral to other organic bodies as appropriate
  • A Farm Accounts Service to all farmers, organic and conventional, especially smallholders, which gives farmers a chance to get their accounts in order at a reasonable price. The Co-Op is also registered with the Revenue Commissioners as a Tax Advisor, and will assist farmers with their Annual Tax Returns. Contact us for further details.
  • A Free Small Ads Service - buy and sell organic livestock and produce on-line, or through the printed newsletter.
  • Training - our training partner Skillnets provides a number of organic and business related training courses. This service is facilitated by the Western Organic Network
  • Commercial Advertising - Organic / Sustainable Enterprises. We would be pleased to advertise your services or products through our website and in our quarterly newsletter. Please contact us for rates.
  • Administration Services:
    • Promotional posters, flyers and leaflets for farmers' markets, organic shops, etc. Free to Co-op members.
    • We maintain a comprehensive organic database, and can offer a mailing and label printing service.
  • Facilitating Livestock Sales - farm to farm, and through the twice yearly Drumshanbo Mart
  • Farm Walks and other Events, some in conjunction with the Western Organic Network and the North West Green Festival. See our Newsletter for details of forthcoming events.
