Athlone gets its first Organically Certified Shop and Cafe

Lowe and Co at 8 Castle St Ahlone is  one of the first if not the first Delicatessan and Cafe to achieve organic certification in Ireland with IOFGA who are based in the town.. Lynda McFarland a nutritionist together with Eddie Lowe her partner have created something special on the food scene in Athlone. They are specializing in locally sourced organic ingredients supporting local farmers and businesses.. They are also especially concerned with gut heath and they have a wide range of fermented foods, sourdough breads and other quite rare and exotic offerings.
